Jeep, Ram & Dodge glass has a few quirks worth knowing before you book.
Newer Jeep, Ram, and Dodge vehicles mount the forward collision and lane sense camera to the windshield. After replacement it is recalibrated so forward collision warning, adaptive cruise, and lane sense work correctly. Older Wranglers without the camera skip this step.
Wrangler and Gladiator windshields are nearly upright, which is why they chip and crack so often, and they are relatively inexpensive to replace. Grand Cherokee and Ram trucks frequently have acoustic glass, rain sensors, and heated wiper park, and some have a heads-up display.
